We collect information that you provide directly to us, including when you generate a quote, register for an account, use the Services, purchase an insurance policy, update your e-mail preferences, respond to a survey or provide other feedback about the Website, or contact us with questions or comments about the Website.

We may ask for or request sensitive information such as government identifiers and financial information, including in connection to payments). For example, we may obtain contact and other information from other sources in order to determine your eligibility for commercial insurance products, to provide you with the quote, or contact you if we think you or the company you represent would be interested in our Website.

Personally Identifiable Information

Some of the information we collect through your use of our Website or communications with us may personally identify you (“Personally Identifiable Information”). The types of Personally Identifiable Information you may submit in connection with use of the Service include:

Other Insurance Brokers and Intermediaries

You may opt out of our sharing your information with other insurance brokers and intermediaries by requesting us to remove you from our insurance intermediary list. Please note that opting out of the insurance intermediary list will limit the opportunity for you to be considered for other quotes from other underwriting insurers in the event our underwriting partner is unable to provide you with a quote. If you decide to opt out of our insurance intermediary list, please contact us at privacy@huckleberry.com and allow a reasonable time for us to process your request. Note that opting out will not affect any information that may have already been shared with other insurance brokers and intermediaries prior your request being processed.


Securing your Information

The security of your information is important to us, and we have established administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your Personally Identifiable Information against unauthorized alteration, access, loss, theft, use or disclosure. Unfortunately, no system can guarantee complete security and the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure.
